Following the earlier introduction, this is a practical quote checklist for one physical button controlling one ordinary light. It deliberately includes the panel's supporting parts and the programming connection, rather than quoting an attractive front-panel price as if it were the whole system.

The control path
Tile wall-button panel and its power/interface base → powered wired HDL Buspro network → one channel of an MR0416 relay → the light. The bus supply and output relay remain essential. An IP gateway is used for the commissioning path below, not because every button press must travel through a cloud server.

Real model examples for the quote
  • HDL MP1BTILE.48-S one-button Tile panel — APOL describes the metal Space Grey EU-format panel and explicitly says frame not included. Quote its matching frame, interface base and compatible wallbox as a complete assembly. AUD/USD: trade/dealer quote.
  • HDL MPPI.48 panel power/interface base — APOL lists the European-format interface. This is not a mains PSU for the entire bus. Have the supplier confirm this base, the exact Tile panel revision and its frame fit together, including suitability for the intended Australian mounting arrangement. Do not substitute MPPI.46 merely because its listing mentions Australia. AUD/USD: quote.
  • HDL MSP750 / MSP750.431 power supply — a separate Buspro 24 V DC, 750 mA supply. Specify the approved mains-input version, protection and enclosure. Size the actual device/wire voltage-drop budget; “750” is not a count of lights. AUD132.00 / USD91.08 at Civic Electronic; tax basis not explicit (supplier link and stock evidence below).
  • HDL MR0416 / MR0416.431 four-channel relay — the manufacturer datasheet documents the output model. Its 16 A-per-channel headline is subject to load type/inrush and installation ratings. This example switches one circuit; it does not dim. AUD/USD: quote.
  • HDL MBUS01IP.431 Ethernet programming gateway — connects the commissioning PC to Buspro. Reuse the integrator's gateway/tools if that is explicitly included in the commissioning service, or quote the unit to retain on site. Ethernet is on the PC side, not a replacement for the panel's Buspro bus. AUD/USD: quote.
  • SAL Wave S9065TCWH complete LED downlight — AUD 10.60 / USD 7.31, Australian retail including GST. Includes its ordinary LED driver, flex and plug; a compliant ceiling socket/connection and installation are still needed. This is not a DALI driver or a smart lamp.
  • Windows commissioning PC, Ethernet lead/network arrangement and the supported HDL Buspro Setup Tool version; installer commissioning and project backup. Include matching panel frame, approved wallbox, DIN enclosure, connectors/protection and lamp connection. AUD/USD: quote any equipment not explicitly reused, plus service fees.
Confirmed partial prices, not an invented package total
APOL’s public trade pages remain quote-only, but an additional Australian retailer check found Civic Electronic’s exact MSP750.431 supply at AUD 132.00 / USD 91.08, advertised in stock/AU stock. The fetched product page does not explicitly state GST treatment, so confirm its tax-invoice basis rather than silently marking this price inclusive. This is the PSU in the checklist above, not a different generic24V supply.

For comparison, Civic also lists the MR0416C.431 current-detection variant at AUD 275.00 / USD 189.75, in stock, tax basis not explicit. That is not the same suffix as the basic MR0416.431 in the APOL example. Do not silently insert its price or assume identical current-monitoring features in the base model. If choosing the C variant, have the supplier confirm its current manual, firmware, approval and panel compatibility and update the quote accordingly.

The costed base-design lines are therefore MSP750.431 plus the ordinary SAL fitting: AUD 142.60 / USD 98.39. This is only a two-line partial subtotal, not a usable system price: physical panel/frame/base, basic relay, gateway/commissioning service, enclosures and connections still need quotes. A complete AUD/USD total remains unavailable without those lines. APOL remains an identifiable Australian trade channel. Older demo-case/search-snippet prices are not used.

The official Tile panel instructions cover the supporting interface/mounting arrangement and configurable button functions. The supplier should confirm the exact metal-panel revision in the quote; a similar plastic-series datasheet is not proof that every frame and base can be mixed. Ask for regional compliance and present availability, rather than relying on photographs or an overseas marketplace name.

Wiring and effort
Budget the manufacturer-approved Buspro data/power cable. HDL documentation describes a four-wire bus carrying power and data; the manufacturer Buspro gateway installation document gives its cable/connection requirements. A suitable approved Cat5/5e implementation is possible where its exact manual permits it, but this is not Ethernet and must never be patched into an Ethernet switch. Use the exact model manuals for topology, conductor allocation, distance, voltage drop and any termination; do not borrow KNX or generic RS485 rules. Separate mains wiring serves the PSU, actuator and light.

Electrical installation is licensed work. Commissioning has moderate-to-high complexity: configure subnet/device addresses, assign panel targets and relay channels, set operating behaviour, test and retain the project. Confirm Setup Tool access, firmware support and any licence/service charge with the supplier. Once configured, the direct bus function need not rely on an internet app.

The PSU capacity, programming gateway and spare relay channels can be reused. Additional lamps still need output capacity, wiring and programming; dimming requires a suitable different actuator/driver. Touchscreens, remote-access services and third-party automation controllers are optional, separately priced additions.

Literal wiring types for the cost plan
Control: approved Buspro four-wire power/data cable; Cat5/Cat5e only with the exact manual’s permitted conductor allocation; PC/gateway: Cat5e Ethernet; PSU/load: mains-rated cable.

Price basis and safety
Prices were checked on 8 November 2026 (Australia/Sydney), not obtained as quotations. Currency equivalents use the RBA rates for 6 November 2026: AUD 1 = USD 0.6900 = EUR 0.6161. Converted figures are not US/Australian retail offers or landed import prices. Tax treatment is stated beside the source price; shipping, duties, extra tax on imports, wiring, labour and commissioning services are excluded. Site-specific enclosures, backboxes, connectors and circuit protection must be allowed for where listed, not treated as free. Australian fixed mains work requires a licensed electrician. These are researched examples, not hardware-tested installations.
